Get to know the founder of the Rooted in Nature Program and learn why your kids are in great hands!
Annabel Etheridge was born in Ontario and was raised travelling around Canada with her parents and sister, assisting her father in his Botany work from a young age. She spent an extensive amount of time living in remote locations, including a floating shark research station and a treehouse in the BC interior! Annabel spent nearly a decade working as a Natural Heritage Educator in the provincial park system before completing her Bachelor of Education and moving to the Northwest Territories. She completed her Forest and Nature School Practitioners course in 2021 and is the Founder and Lead Facilitator at Rooted in Nature! In her free time, she spends her days on the land with her two young boys, husband and sled dog team. Her passions include dogsledding, kayaking, fat biking and hiking, natural history and sharing her love of the outdoors with others.
